Office of the Controller of Communication Accounts (CCA), Karnataka is a field unit of the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications and IT, Government of India. It came into existence on 1st October 2000. The jurisdiction of the office of the CCA, Karnataka is co-terminus with the geographical state of Karnataka. This office is mainly responsible for the settlement of retirement benefits of DoT and employees of DoT absorbed in BSNL, their General Provident Fund accounts maintenance, collection of license fee and spectrum usage charges from licensees and Universal Service Obligation fund administration.
